Source and scope

ScratchOffChecker is independent of Florida Lottery. Our existing importer reads the published Florida scratch-off catalog and game-detail prize tables. We currently cover Florida only. Source: Florida Lottery scratch-offs. Game pages link to the corresponding official record.

Dates and updates

An import is scheduled once daily. The complete-import date above is the last run recorded as successful, not a guarantee that every game changed or that the source was accurate. Each game shows when its prize data was checked. All timestamps marked UTC use Coordinated Universal Time. When an update fails, previous verified data is retained. A warning appears after 48 hours without a complete successful import.

Calculations you can reproduce

Claimed count = original count − unclaimed count. Claimed percentage = 100 × claimed count / original count. For example, one unclaimed prize out of two original prizes means exactly 50% unclaimed and 50% claimed. We calculate no percentage for a zero original count, missing data or inconsistent counts.

Across-tier percentages weight by the number of prizes, not their dollar value. Top-prize comparisons use a periodic or lifetime headline tier when present, otherwise the highest numeric tier and retain the official tier label. Periodic and lifetime awards are not converted to present cash value; compare their published terms separately.

Historical observations

Daily observations record the published count for each tier. A difference means the published figure changed between observations. It does not reveal the purchase date, exact claim date or location of a winning ticket. Positive changes can reflect source corrections; they are not automatically new prizes. We do not infer missing dates.

Odds and rankings

Official overall odds refer to the original game and any prize, including a return equal to the ticket price. Sorting by these odds compares original probabilities, not net profit. Sorting by counts compares counts only. Newest sorts by reported launch date. No proprietary score, current exact winning probability, estimated unsold inventory or expected return is presented.

Important limits

Unclaimed prizes may belong to tickets already sold. Without the number and prize distribution of unsold tickets, current winning odds cannot be calculated from unclaimed counts alone. Tracked active status does not prove tickets remain available at a retailer. Game names and source figures can change; existing URLs are preserved.
